Sutton is just milliseconds from crossing the plate for an Eagle run.

Advancing home on the hit by Flores, Jorge Cantu slides at the plate. The catcher, with the ball in his glove, takes a backhanded swipe at the runner. The umpire, who has a poor angle, calls Cantu out, but the photographic evidence clearly shows the catcher missed the tag. Nope, instant replays aren't allowed.

The Crockett runner takes off, Saldaña sprints back to his fielding position at shortstop, and Sutton delivers the pitch to the batter.

OOPS! Eichner missed the plate and must try to touch it before he's tagged. Meanwhile, the cat-and-mouse game at home allows Sutton to take 2nd.

Saldaña finds himself in a hot box between 3rd base and home.

Darkness comes quickly. Without lights on the field, the teams could not play off the tie score that existed at the end of the game.
