was selected to be on the first team of the 2005 All District squad. Airrik is the very first in the history of Akins High School to be named to an All District baseball team.

was chosen by the members of the Eagles teams as the embodiment of what makes it special to be a baseball player at Akins High School. Consistent at practice and at games, Matt's drive and his spark have been both inspiration and motivation for his teammates.

Jason Rangel
can play any position on the field, but during the 2005 season, his playing time was split between shortstop and pitcher. His knowledge of the game has contributed to a higher level of play, not only for himself, but for his teammates too.

Offensive Player of the Year
With an overall batting average of .397, a slugging average of .587, 25 hits, 15 RBIs and an on-base percentage of 53%, Charles Morton led the 2005 Eagle Varsity in each offensive category.

Sure handed center fielder Airrik Martinez anchored the Eagle Varsity's outfield the entire season. At the plate, he finished the season with an overall batting average of .328.
