Georgetown Invitational Tournament
WHEN: THURSDAY-FRIDAY-SATURDAY, MARCH 2, 3, 4
WHERE: Four venues in the Williamson County area will be used for tournament pool play.
The Eagles will play only at Cedar Park High School for pool competition. Semi-finals
and finals are all at Georgetown High School. Consolation games are at other venues.

ADMISSION: Admission fee is $4.00 per game or $10.00 for a tournament pass.
TOURNAMENT STYLE: 16 teams. Four pools. Weather permitting, each team is guaranteed a minimum of 5 games.

TOURNAMENT RULES:
- Each team will supply game balls for their games.
- No pre-game infield will be taken on game fields.
- No inning will start after 2 ½ hours. Ties will play out one extra inning if time has expired. If the game remains tied
the following rules will be enforced by the official book (home team): 1) runners reaching 3rd, 2) runners reaching 2nd, 3) runners reaching 1st, 4) coin toss.
- The format will be pool play with each team being placed in a pool for Saturday’s games. Please be available in
person or by cell phone Friday night so you can find your site for Saturday’s games. Some adjustments may be
made on Friday night to prevent district opponents from playing each other and to keep host schools at their field.
- Speed up rules need to be used to keep the tournament moving.
- Run rules will be in effect……10 after 5, 8 after 6, 1 after 7
- Trophies will be awarded in the Championship bracket
- The booster club will be providing a free meal on Thursday or Friday night. More information later.
- There will be trainers available in case of injuries but please bring your own tape for wraps.
POOL PLAY TIE-BREAKERS: 1) head to head competition, 2) runs allowed in all pool play games, 3) margin of victory in all pool play games with an 8 run maximum per game, 4) coin toss.
