5:53 PM: a Bastrop batter is out at 1st base.

5:56 PM: Saldaña is tagged out at 1st base. The Bastrop coach claimed the Eagle batter came into the bag throwing an elbow on this play. The umpire refused to go along with that nonsense. Photographic evidence shows the umpire was right. See if you can resist the urge to compare this picture to the one taken just 3 minutes earlier.
