Defensive Player of the Year
Airrik Martinez led the 2004 Eagles Varsity at the plate with a phenomenal batting average of .524 and team-leading on-base average of 64 percent. He also led the team in hits, home runs and RBIs.
Charles Morton was a threat with the bat in 2004, batting in the cleanup spot throughout the season and trailing only offensive leader Martinez in numbers of hits, home runs and RBIs. Behind the plate, he caught 83% of the season's innings. Among Eagle pitchers, he notched the greatest number of wins for the 2004 season.
Emmanuel Hernandez is the 2004 Defensive Player of the Year for the Akins Eagles. His surehanded performance in center field anchored the Eagle defense.
