The game ends onTreviņo's 5th inning strikeout. Up by 10 runs after 5, the Maroons were declared the winners under the "mercy" rule.

Umpires never hang around the field after the game, and these were no exception. The game ended at 8:57 PM and within that same minute, the officiating crew was in the dressing room.
