WEBMASTER'S NOTE: This time limited game ended in an 8 - 8 tie. The tournament schedule did not permit the resolution of the game through the standard baseball tradition (and rule) of playing extra innings. Instead, the game was decided by the non-standard, non-baseball process of counting the runners of each team who had reached third base. Akins had 10 such runners; Floresville had 12, and was summarily declared the winner.
