NOTE: A schedule distribution issue resulted in the tournament’s internal schedule’s being different from the tournament schedule initially given to, and used by, the Akins Baseball program and this web site. The previously published dates and times were incorrect. Contact the coach.

  EAGLES HAVE NO GAMES SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY.
            
   
• Friday schedule February 21, 2014:
  1. GAME TIME: 1:15 PM 
     LOCATION: CANYON HIGH SCHOOL
     OPPONENT: NEW BRAUNFELS 
     SCORE: EAGLES      NEW BRAUNFELS
  
  2. GAME TIME and OPPONENT determined by outcome of 1st round.
     (5:45 PM if Eagles win Game 1 or 3:30 PM if Eagles lose Game 1.)
     LOCATION: CANYON HIGH SCHOOL
     OPPONENT: (Eagles will face either Smithson Valley or Lockhart.)
     SCORE: EAGLES     
   
• Saturday schedule February 22, 2014:

ADMISSION:
  An admission fee will be charged.

TOURNAMENT STYLE:   8 teams, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Consolation.

TOURNAMENT RULES:

• Home team will be determined by a coin flip prior to each game.  Canyon will always be the home team and occupy the 3^rd base dugout.
• No infield practice will be allowed before the game.
• Batting cages will be available.
• Courtesy runners will be used to speed up the games.
• We will have a Twelve Run Rule after four innings, and Eight Run Rule after five.
• We will play a 1 hour and 45 minute time limit.  No inning to start after 1 hour and 45 minutes.
• Each team will play three games.
