ADMISSION:
An admission fee will be charged.

TOURNAMENT STYLE: 10 teams, modified round robin.

TOURNAMENT RULES:
Home team will be determined by a coin flip prior to each game.
Canyon will always be the home team and occupy the 3rd base dugout.
No infield practice will be allowed before the game.
Batting cages will be available.
Courtesy runners will be used to speed up the games.
We will have a Twelve Run Rule after four innings, and an Eight Run Rule after five.
We will play a 1 hour and 45 minute time limit. No inning to start after 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Each team will play three games.

Outcome / Comments

The Eagles had a tough time getting into the proper gear on Friday, and the outcomes of the two tournament games on that day reflect the struggle. Tivy and Steele are both fine teams, and it does not take a thing away from either one to observe that neither faced an Eagle team that was playing to its ability.

The wind picked up on Saturday, and so did the Eagles. Behind the noteworthy pitching of Timothy Jackson and Ryan Cullen, Coach Crampton’s JV Gold Eagles took control of the game with Pleasanton. The result was an Eagle win that made Saturday’s bus ride home far more enjoyable.
