SUMMER EAGLES: TEAM PARTY AUGUST 27
A team party for the Summer Eagles has
been scheduled for Sunday, August 27. Robert and Sandy Rangel have graciously offered to host the party.

SUMMER EAGLES: LOSS OF TOO MANY PLAYERS FORCES END OF SEASON
A number of players and their families have made other plans that will prevent the Summer Eagles from fielding a team for the upcoming All Star tournament(s). We must have a minimum of 13 qualified players, and we've been able
to get firm commitments from no more than eight.
Summer is a time for baseball. But it's also an opportunity for spending time with your family, working at a summer job, going on vacation and just taking a break from the
rigors of schoolwork and athletic schedules.
The 2003 season for the Summer Eagles is at an end. We finished 8-7-1 (.531) overall and 8-4-1 (.653) in summer league play. Thanks and kudos go to the players, the parents
and the volunteers for a productive and successful summer season.
